Activities

We have been asked to run an Archery session for 1st Homewell Beavers. The group size is 13, and activity time will be for a duration of 1 hour. Meeting times: Set up is booked from 09:00. The activity will start at 10:00 for 2 hours, then time to pack up and store equipment at the District centre. This event is available for all members of Active Support to attend, not just Archery Permit holders. As well as a minimum of 1 permit holder, we would like additional adults to offer 1:1 support. We have been asked to provide Air rifle shooting for 22 Cubs from 1st Cowplain Cubs. The activity location will be confirmed soon. The section meets at 18:30 for 1.5 hours. The section leader will provide access to set up prior to the activity starting.

This request is to support 1st Hart Plain at their group camp. They require support on Sunday 28th in the following areas: Climbing - 9:30 am to 12:30 pm Air rifle shooting - 1 pm to 4pm Archery - 1 pm to 4pm Tomahawk - 1 pm to 4 pm   These are our explicit needs to match our planned schedule, but if there are other SAS members who could attend on the afternoon of Sunday 28th May to assist with our Vintage Scouting experience, and who could bring some activities perhaps, that would be very welcome.

The section leader will provide access to set up prior to the activity starting. Group: 1st Catherington Beavers Age group: Beavers Activities/Support: Archery Has their own equipment: No Medical and disabilities: One child with autism.

We have been asked to provide Air rifle shooting for 20 Explorers from Attenborough ESU. The activity will be held at Clanfield Scout HQ, either indoors or outdoors. The section meets at 7pm for 2 hours. The section leader will provide access to set up prior to the activity starting. Attenborough do not have their own kit, so Active Support Member will need to take this too.

We have been asked to support the group event on Hayling in the following areas: Crossbow instructor Catering Climbing instructor Tomahawk leader (TBC) If you can help in any of the above areas please RSVP below.  The groups' young members will arrive from 09:30 and run until 16:00 Lunch will be provided for all helpers Camping is available for members on Friday and Saturday evenings - you must have completed all getting started modules.  By filling in the RSVP below you are specifying your preferred area to assist.
