Air rifle – 1st Cowplain Cubs (1st date)
We have been asked to provide Air rifle shooting for 22 Cubs from 1st Cowplain Cubs. The activity location will be confirmed soon. The section meets at 18:30 for 1.5 hours. The section leader will provide access to set up prior to the activity starting.

Active Support Member Social!
Hawk District Centre (Havant) Fraser Road, Havant, United KingdomI think it's time for a social! Please join us at 7pm at the Hawk District Centre for our first Scouts Active Support Unit social on Friday 26th May! This event is free to SASU members! The evening will begin with a short meeting to discuss the way ahead for SASU and to build the calendar for the next few months. It's also your opportunity for you to have you say. What's working well? What could be improved? Do you have an idea for an event? Perhaps you would like to know more about the opportunities that are upcoming!. Afterwards there will be a BBQ and a chance to mingle and if there is enough interest perhaps a quiz too. Soft drinks will be provided, but if you would like a tipple feel free to you own. Please let us know whether you can attend of now, on OSM by the 24th May to allow us to purchase enough provisions. If you would like a quiz (or have an idea for another form of entertainment, or would like to run!) We look forward to seeing you there! Jamie and Helen

1st Hart Plain – Group Camp
This request is to support 1st Hart Plain at their group camp. They require support on Sunday 28th in the following areas: Climbing - 9:30 am to 12:30 pm Air rifle shooting - 1 pm to 4pm Archery - 1 pm to 4pm Tomahawk - 1 pm to 4 pm These are our explicit needs to match our planned schedule, but if there are other SAS members who could attend on the afternoon of Sunday 28th May to assist with our Vintage Scouting experience, and who could bring some activities perhaps, that would be very welcome.

Archery permit course
Denmead HQ Kidmore Ln, Denmead, WaterloovilleThe course has been confirmed for the 3rd & 4th June, you will need to attend both days, times are expected to be Sat 3rd - 10:30 - 17:00 Sun 4th - 09:00 - 17:00 This is non-residential & non-catered, please bring lunch for both days with you, drinks will be available. Costs Hawk Active Support members - the costs are covered by the District Other sections, Groups or Districts - £35 Please select from the below ticket options Hawk Active Support Unit Member - If you are going to use your permit to support all groups in the District the course is free of charge, you will need to currently be or need to join us as a Unit member, we ask for a minimum of 3 Active Support requests a year in the activity. Hawk District - If you are unable to support other groups in the District with Archery in the future you can purchase tickets for the course. Other Hampshire - If you are a leader from another District within Hampshire, please use this option. All bookings close at noon on the 31st of May. Location: Denmead HQ

We have been asked to provide Archery, for 15 Beavers from 1st Catherington Beavers. The activity will be held Outdoors- picnic field in Catherington. The section meets at 5.30 pm for 1 hour. The section leader will provide access to set up prior to the activity starting. Group: 1st Catherington Beavers Age group: Beavers Activities/Support: Archery Has their own equipment: No Medical and disabilities: One child with autism.

Clanfield meetings
Clanfield HQ Little Hyden Lane, Clanfield, HampshireBasics Clanfield Cub pack require support at weekly meetings for the 2nd half of the half-term, the leader needs support due to injury within the leadership team. What is required? You can decide, there is no preferred activity or programme. If you are available but happy to just be an adult supporting the evening that is ok as well. Some of my ideas are a target activity, navigation, cooking, and fires if you have an idea book now and select a date and say what you'd like to offer. If you're able to support any of the following dates please book this event and fill in the boxes. Meetings are all on Thursday's 18:30 - 20:00 at Clanfield HQ, Clanfield has both good size indoor and outdoor grass areas. Skills Day
Hawk District Centre (Havant) Fraser Road, Havant, United KingdomOn Sunday 25th June, we will be running a Skills Day at the Hawk District Centre in Havant. This event will be a showcase essential Scout skills and is open to all Leaders and Section Assistants within the district to attend. Whether adults want to try their hand at a new skill, or just to get a few new ideas for their programme, it is sure to be a great day for everyone, and a fantastic opportunity to network too. Active Support Members We are looking for members to sign up to run bases during the day. Ideally, we need a minimum of one person per base plus a couple of extra people for ad hoc duties on the day. Whether you can help all day or for just half, please do RSVP under 'Active Support Member' below stating your preferred area(s) to support. BBQ Knots and Lashings Pioneering Navigation Tent Pitching Knife, Saw and Axe Skills Fire Lighting Backwoods Cooking Drinks will be available throughout the day and also a BBQ to keep energy levels up!
