Hawk Scout Active Support organised skills day for district leaders, providing them with valuable opportunities to learn and connect. The event featured various skill bases, including knots and lashings, tent pitching, backwoods cooking, fire lighting, BBQ/refreshments, pioneering, and knife, saw, and axe skills.
During lunch, leaders enjoyed a BBQ and had ample time to meet one another, where they could exchange ideas and experiences. Despite the heat, the event provided a great opportunity for leaders to network and enhance their scouting community.
